TRA Medical Imaging

TRA Medical Imaging is one of the nation’s largest and longest-standing physician-owned radiology practices and serves as a charter member of Affiliated Radiology.

Based in the Pacific Northwest, TRA Medical Imaging has served hospitals, clinics, and communities across the greater Seattle–Tacoma region for more than a century. The organization is widely recognized for its strong physician leadership, commitment to clinical excellence, and long-standing partnerships with healthcare organizations throughout the region.

TRA’s experience operating a large, multi-site imaging enterprise helped shape the vision for Affiliated Radiology: a collaborative entity where radiology groups can work together to strengthen clinical coverage, invest in shared infrastructure, and expand strategic opportunities while maintaining strong physician leadership and local engagement.

Today, TRA continues to play an important role in supporting the development of the Affiliated Radiology network and its MSO platform, helping advance collaboration, innovation, and long-term sustainability across partner organizations.
